This exhibition invited visitors to enter the world of “small theatre” – puppetry from all around the globe.

A vanishing world

Visitors could explore a world that has almost vanished – from the children’s favourite Punch and Judy, to exquisitely carved Asian puppets dressed in fantastical costumes. Paper theatre, shadow puppetry, puppets on strings and also the legendary Austrian “Kasperl & Pezi” were gathered together in this show.
